Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 pupils and their parents /carers are reminded that the whole year group will be going out on work experience placements with employers between Monday 5th and Friday 16th  July this year.  Pupils who still do not have a placement must see our Work Experience Co-ordinator, Mrs Hookway, as soon as possible.  If a pupil does not have a placement that has been checked and approved by the School the pupil will remain in the School for that fortnight.  The mandatory pre-placement checks with employers are taking up to sixteen weeks to complete and include health and safety, occupational safety and health, insurance, child protection, working hours and conditions and the nature of the job being conducted.
